As promised, here are a few interior shots of the new Rechler Headquarters. Inspired by the exposed steel beams of the existing structure, the design palette uses traditional industrial materials like metal panels, steel, and glass as well as new, modern materials to create fresh, exciting visuals and provide a visual reminder of the firm’s industrial roots.
The design also needed to accommodate the owners’ significant art collection, including notable original works from Jackson Pollack, Christo, and Louise Nevelson. We provided dedicated wall space along with gallery-style lighting and room for several large sculptural pieces; the entry vestibule was specifically designed to accommodate a signature sculptural piece of the collection.
