Lama is a designer at Arrowstreet and a recent graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a minor in Environmental Studies. Her interest in architecture emerged from experiencing progressive land degradation, over-construction, and materials pollution while visiting her family in the Middle East. She believes an integrated process of architecture and engineering to be the means of mitigating such issues, as well as designing energy efficient buildings informed by local climate and culture. Having worked at Arrowstreet through Northeastern’s cooperative education program, Lama is excited to rejoin the team in its new downtown studio. Outside of the office, Lama enjoys traveling, hiking, and sampling new cuisines.
