This summer at AST introduced a new weekly tradition of heading over to Sacco’s Bowl Haven for flatbread pizza, socializing, and candlepin bowling. It’s been a great way for the firm to blow off steam and engage in some (healthy) competition. Results this year showed an even spread week to week of close games and high intensity. Competition was fierce; for four consecutive weeks, both teams alternated the lead by less than a half pin difference! On Friday, October 28th Arrowstreeters showcased their design, carving, and decorating skills at our 4th annual Pumpkin Design Contest. We had a variety of entries in this year’s contest, including a Transformkin complete with drywall screws (Matt Rice); a traditional Halloween bat carving (Greg Triplett); a wide-eyed, floppy-eared dog named Spot (Mike Conlan); a cannibalistic pumpkin dripping candy corn (Stephanie Tyll and Lama Bitar); and pumpkin carved like an Oak tree with a “tire” swing (Lauren Haggerty)…

Arrowstreet will be showcasing Keen’s Crossing at Winooski Falls at the Livable Communities Exhibit, located in the A.P.E. Gallery in Northampton, MA from October 1-15. Hosted by the AIA New England / Western Massachusetts AIA, the exhibit highlights projects located in New England or designed by New England firms that relate to the AIA’s Ten Principles of Livable Communities.
