I recently had the honor and enjoyment to participate in the ULI Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) in Pittsfield, MA. Under the leadership of the Urban Land Institute’s Boston District Council and with support from MassDevelopment, the TAP convened on March 29th of this year, bringing together stakeholders, City and community leaders, and a panel of land use and development professionals for a day-long session focused on opportunities for redeveloping Pittsfield’s West Street Corridor and strengthening connections between that area and the City’s increasingly thriving North Street downtown spine…

I will be participating in a ULI TAP (Technical Assistance Panel) on October 11 in Fall River. The panel has been asked to examine the Jefferson Street Extension, comprised of several redeveloped mills and privately owned property zoned for industry. The Fall River Office of Economic Development (FROED) has marketed the area for a variety of uses and is looking for suggestions on how to best package these parcels for highest and best use.
